Two body mount locations on the 2010 JK are missing
 

I helped a friend today installing a body lift on his 2010 2-door JK.

Strangely, there is only 8 body mount locations. (instead of 10)

What happened? :dontknow2:

How many body mount locations do you have on your 2-door JK (if you have a 2007-08-09)?

No answer?

No 2-door owners on this forum?

Did you know that the JK is also available with 2 doors ?!?! :rotflmao2:

2 doors have 10, 4 doors have 12. Most companies sell the 10 piece kits. Pretty sure there are a 100 threads on this.

That is for what they advertise 07-10 JK. Maybe you missed a couple when you did your friends? The 10 is exactly the same as an 07 except for cosmetic stuff. Cant see them ditching 2 whole body mounts.

The 2 body mounts under the rear seat are gone :eek2:
I looked with a flash light, and there is no hole anymore in the frame.

Here are the details:

2 body mounts on front
2 body mounts on right side
2 body mounts on left side
2 body mounts on rear
2 body mounts under the rear seat: GONE

IS IT NORMAL, OR MY FRIEND SHOULD CONTACT THE DEALER???

Okay, I had many confirmations: The 2010 2-door jK's have now 8 body mounts. I hate Chrysler :naw:

mine only has 8 too. its all good...
