Today I picked up my 2012 Black Wrangler Sport 2-Door with Hard-top only and black interior and I found this strange plastic part on the floor. It is dark brown and has >PP-TD20< written on it. I came across this post today while trying to find out what that part is. I found one in my 2012 jku under the carpet. Not under the floor mat but it was a bulge under the carpet I noticed while vacuuming. I have no clue what it is for.

The plastic piece that I pulled out of the wire bay
I came across this part today while I was fishing some wires through my main wire hub along my firewall. The first comment in this thread was correct it’s to stop wires from fraying. >PP-TD20< Is just the identification or recipe for the make up of the plastics.
