Value for 2011's

Anyone know where you can retail, loan or hell even trade-in values for the 2011 Wranglers? Every website I go to doesn't give the option for Wrangler when 2011 is selected...

Yea, I know. Calculate the ratio of a 2009 to 2010, and use it to increase the 2010 value, and that should be close. About as close as you can get without paying a service for recent auction research and data.

I did an analysis for my 2 door 6-speed, and used 10k miles for both years, and NADA.com:

2010 2dr 6 speed w/options 10k miles, NADA clean trade-in $21,000
2009 2dr 6 speed w/options 10k miles, NADA clean trade-in $20,525

Depreciation = 20.535/20,000 = .98, dang, 98% retention?!?

So a 2011 clean trade-in would extrapolate to 21,000/.98 = $21,420. A few observations: the 2011 has a new interior which *might* move values up slightly. Secondly, I've noticed average miles on Wranglers are low by other vehicle standards, which may really be what is driving the excellent resale value. 2007's commonly have 60k or less miles, which is low by other vehicle standards. And lastly, production increased significantly in 2011, meaning there are lots more 2011's than 2010's, and so on. That would keep values down as well, meaning its easier to find a one year old JK with low miles, thereby circumventing the first year penalty of ownership.

Good points. Just can't believe all the major companies don't have info out yet, considering 2012 talk is going on.

My JKU Rubicon with Auto and Hardtop came to just over 31K for a trade in value. Not terrible at all. Sticker was 35050 and I paid 33900 out the door.
