My jeep is on the way and I asked the dealer for the tracking number. They did not know where to get this number from so I mentioned to them that it started with TGG or something like that. They came back with a number but its not the right one. The number they gave me was TGG1 B N 048. Does anyone know what this number is and also where to find the correct number?

 

it very well could be your railcar number, but it isn't in the UP format, so i doubt it. if you go to your dealer and have them look up the VIN-Vision report, it's in there. but it has to be KZM for a day or two before a rail number will show up.

 

Thanks, Thats what I was looking for. It was in KZ status a couple of days ago. I'm sure that its KZM by now, Because the dealer was able to give me a date which it is supposed to be offloaded from the railcar.

 

Have them double check the railcar number. That isn't right.

It should be "equipment ID, 2-4 letters followed by 1-6 numbers" format.
