I ordered a Rescue Green 2-door X model, (S package) JK from a local dealer about two weeks ago. We have been going to dealers looking at JK's trying to find what we ordered. Ive yet to see one.

Yesterday we drove to Kent Ohio, to Klaben Jeep. They said they had a 2 door in stock. But it wasnt! I asked the salesman where's the 2-door JK.

He looked at me like I just shot his dog.. He was clueless. I said the new Wrangler.. Oh the 4 door Jeep? Yes but the two door.. still nothing going on in his head... We just walked away.

We then went to Preston Dodge, they actually had a 2 door. it was Blue, and very ugly. The blues looks very bad, the tiny tires dont look good either.. But i really like the two door model.

The salesman at Preston, had the cross eyed look when i said were looking at 2 door JK's. He left quickly after I told him we already ordered one.

I just needed to vent. If your going to try and sell me a Jeep atleast know what the hell your selling.

 

Oh I hear ya. I think the worst that I've heard was a salesman trying to convince me that the new Wranglers ONLY came in a 4-door.

 

sounds like the guy I ordered my 2 door from.. He thaught they didnt change the looks of the 2-door . He thaught it was only the 4 door model.. I got him straight.

He was atleast honest. He told me he didnt know anything about jeeps. I can respect a salesman thats honest. Not one that tries to cover me in his bullshit..

 

I completely don't get it. You would think they would at least know what product they sell. I don't expect them to have horsepower & torque memorized for every vehicle they sell, but at least know what you sell. Argggg.

 

There's only ever 1 salesmen per dealer that knows anything about cars. The rest know less than most women.

Haha yes, gender has nothing to do with it!
Every excuse we've heard is that "We didn't get the packets in yet, I don't know any specifics..."
Whatever...If you actually take a look at these vehicles you'd learn a lot!

 

I like those SRC front bumpers. I hope they'll adapt them for the JK.

we sold the SRC bumpers. Smittybilt also sold. I'm not sure what they will continue making.

 

there's one guy i know who had a salesman tell him the rear doors didn't come off...and the JK was right in front of him...he could have checked the hinges, or the manual, or asked another salesman....

I remember telling one salegirl when looking for my wife's TJ all the things she should have been telling us to sell us on the Wrangler....i took her to school...hehe
