Why did DC do it
 

I have just found out from another Jeep board that the light grey pearl coat colour is no longer available for new orders. Why do you think they discontinued it.

Because they were going to d/c rescue green, but the dealers wanted them to keep it. For some reason they decided that they can only have a set number of colors, and they are adding yellow, so they had to get rid of one. From what I have heard.
