well to sum it up an oil burning wrangler would be the perfect vehicle. well at least for some, however if we lived in a perfect world we would not need cars. we would be riding around on unicorns. but we couldn't afford a unicorn because we wouldn't have jobs because there wouldn't be any money.
were the hell is this going?
PS : i wonder if i could mount a winch on my unicorn?

This is a good question. The current Diesel is supplied by VM Motori, but Fiat-IVECO has a 3 liter engine with similar specs (torque curve is even better, if I recall right).
So they might change it ... who knows.
Don't believe too much these things though ... never seen any 'miracles' come from Fiat. Over 20 years of Alfa Romeo ownership speak by itself ....

Why wouldn't you want one ! The new diesels are clean and run smooth just like a gas engine, gobs of torque better fuel economy and its what jeeps should have had all along.

Cant say id want a 2.8l diesel. but a cummins would be nice
No ones said it yet but the engine switch in 2010 is most likely to the pentastar right? It aint a hemi but im down with that, the turbo would be nice on the road too.
