Wrapping Lines with Braid, any downside?

Hello,
We are considering prettying up our engine bay, because we can. We are thinking of Braid wrapping all the power and hoses.
Any reason not to?
If we do, any recommended brands?
Probably going orange to match the sunset orange paint.
Thanks!
Me

A couple years ago i redid all the wire loom in my engine bay when i rebuilt my timing and had everything apart. I think it took me longer to do all that than the mechanical job :rotflmao2:. Anyhow, the brand I purchased is no longer available, but i think the important part of this snapshot is that the material was a woven PET -

I was really happy working with that stuff and what it looks like. it was definiltey not the cheapest thing and i got various diameter sizes for things.

my jeep isn't a daily driver these days, but it's all held up nicely. looks so much better than before, and i was dead tired of all that brittle plastic anytime i had to do work in the engine bay.
