wtf were they thinking?

Am I the only one that just  scratches my head over why the freedom tops are white on the inside? Why not black/black? Is there a specific reason they did that?

Black would of been nicer!

The_Superhoo 04-15-2007 09:19 AM

its supposed to look "bigger" inside with the lighter color

heat probably plays a part too

possumface 04-15-2007 09:20 AM

is there some kind of paint on the top maybe its a money thing , cheaper to not paint inside black

Or why not gray to match the interior. What would heat have to do with the inside? The sun shines on the outside! :)

I suppose...Surely those smart guys at jeep could have figured a way to reflect heat while not making it look as white as my skin.

I like the white. It makes it look more utilitarian.
