09.02.21 - Casparis Trip
 

Had a good turn out for this run, 9 total. There wasn't as much snow as we were hoping for, but there was plenty of ice. I got to be the ice breaker at every mud hole. :crazyeyes: And as always, we had several downed trees to clear. Everytime we go, we all talk about bringing our chain saws, but never do, and everytime, we have several trees that need clearing. :rollingeyes:

anyway, i think everyone had fun. these trails are a lot of fun and theres something for everyone.

What was in that hole (inside of the mtn) that ya'll were walking towards? :dontknow2:

It is an abanded limestone mine. Most of the entrance has been blocked off but they had to leave a small opening for the bats to get in and out, you can go down in and walk back pretty far.
