Thanks for rubbing it in. I miss the Arizona winters. We used to live in Kingman. We would take our Jeep and camp out in Organ Pipe before it was annexed by Mexico.

Good pics.
Yep. Winter is WAY NICE here in Arizona!

We are wintering near Apache Junction, and I mostly take my dual-sport out every morning.... BUT ..... now that we have the JK with us this year we are starting to get our feet wet, well mostly just dusty , on the fine local trails in the Superstition and Four Peaks wilderness areas. Did Hewitt Canyon to JF Ranch last week and had a great time.

I did the 401 trail to Four Peaks this week once, and only got as far as the alpine meadows below the ridge line west of Brown mountain cuz I just plain ran out of time. That is a GREAT trail for us beginners .

This morning I was on the Hewitt Canyon trail and noted a CJ that had gone into a turn a bit too fast and slid straight on the rocks into a large verde tree which hung him up. He WAS able to back it out and no major damage done.
I like to have some coffee from my bottle a couple times each week at the wash intersection down along the creek. It's beautiful, and quiet there... and just a wonderful place to be on a nice Arizona morning.

It beats the crap out of dodging ice bullets in the midwest.
I'm jus sayin...

I lived in AZ for 2 years for school if I remember correctly a few nights in January or February it got to just about freezing. I would have some slight frost on my motorcycle windshield. 2 years in AZ with just my motorcycle, dust storms, 115 degrees and a few freezing nights. But once outside phoenix it was awesome...

I just decided to sell my dual sport because I don't ride it very much here in Illinois.(600 miles in 18 mo.) Then we decided we were gonna move to Tucson this coming January. I really wish is still had it now. I guess I'll have to get a new one when I get out there.

Ha! I agree... What part of mass you from? I grew up in mass. Not much wheeling anymore even in the western parts... If Ma put the amount of money they spend on gates for every trail head into their roads, the place might not suck as bad to drive in!!!!
