Gold Mountain
Went to Big Bear Ca on Memorial Day weekend to tackle the Gold Mountain Trail. It's one of 3 trails in the area that Jeep recognizes as a Badge of Honor trail. Had a great time and the Jeep performed as expectedhttps://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jk-...29787791d1.jpg

Awesome pictures! Big Bear is a great place!
Did you need to use your lockers for Gold Mountain? I want to give it a shot after I buy a winch in the next few weeks but I lack lockers and my tires are 265/75R16 (so 31ish inches) which is making me hesitant. I was thinking maybe run it downhill and start at 3N16 heading towards 18 to mitigate the risk of getting stuck climbing up the rocks. |
