Megarun 2008
I honestly thought that there would be several other posts about Megarun, but I guess I'm the first.
What a great weekend. I believe they said that the final number of rigs was 117. It was crazy.
Our campsite - we rented a pop-up for the weekend. It beats the snot out of tent camping. The JK pulled it just fine, MPG was at about 13.2...so not too bad.

All lining up for the AM trail run

There were all types of vehicles out there, from a bone stock Liberty with street tires, to huge custom built monster-type trucks. I counted about 6 or 7 JKs...way to represent.

This is my favorite pic from the entire weekend.

Some fun on the trails.

This is a lovely rig, unfortunately the guy was having a bad day.

The Rock Garden Rodeo, it was nuts. I decide to keep the JK away from that

I had a lot of photos to go through, but those sums up the whole weekend. We had so much fun. Huge props to Texas Four Wheel Drive - DFW Chapter. They put on a superb event. http://www.dfw-tx4wd.org/ check 'em out.
I'm already planning for next year.
