Brent, we must have been out there at the same time as you. We were wheeling with NAXJA (North American XJ Association). It is indeed a great place. I took some video too at http://www.j33per.com/blog/moab.html.

So, tell us... what did you learn from that experience? Would you rather have an auto after that episode?

Jury is still out on that.....right that second the drive would have been much nicer if I had an auto but on some of the down hill portions where I shift into 4 low, 1st gear and let the 5.13's walk down the wall are priceless....

For rock crawling an auto is definately the way to go but I really like the conrtol of the 6 speed!!!

Couldn't you drop the auto in 1st and let it crawl down, too?

could but the ratios are not as low
