Talking Trailer races

This event at the Jamboree is such a hoot!

~This year was a race between a select few ~but quality not quantity.

Dropping it in to the starting gates

The local Sheriffs looking tough but taking second to the rear

Wakin' Wagin trying but the got stuck on something hard

The young fellas were quick- maybe just just too quick for all the older competes

And they cross the finish line

The young winners swim back on a mission to sink the Sherrifs
--->Gotta love it!

AUOOOOGHAH!

I really liked the Rock hard sliders on this Outlaw 4X4 Jeep, (Especially after the big sluice)

What is that on the hard top there? Looks pretty fancy! And whats behind the spare tire there? Are they jerry cans?

Sorry about your minor damage however you need beefier slide rock! That is why I got mine - purejeep rock guard and rockhard Gas Tank and oil Skid Plate because of this.

I wish that I join with you folk - what is a great trail and beautiful weather!

Those are all called RotoPax, they come in different colors for gas, water, kerosine, and for equipment shown on the side of the Hardtop. He sells them at his shop.

Default More fun

With dinner approaching, we were asked if we wanted to shuck corn.
Needless to say, We were game
Not sure how many we shucked, but it was a Jeep trailer full

The bar was fully stocked and calling out to all Jeepers

Let the Party begin

The crew as well as groups within the camp do themes...
I just love this!
--->Meet the Flintstones

Uncle Lee's crazy group

...Doing the perverted "Super Hero" theme

Just a wild guess, but they sport a personal bar and I am figuring that it is the main factor in the camp chaos
Gotta love it!

Boy! they sure have some interesting rigs though - MAN-O-MAN this Jeep is something . inside and out!

I think to be a sheriff in this camp couldn't be too bad of a task

Bon fire Baby!

And here is the band ~ They were great

Sunday to follow ...
Stay tuned folks

Those Rotopax are actually cheap!
They sure brought in people with questions.
I liked them too

Looks like a ton of fun! Sorry about the trail damage. I can't believe it is your first, but you are right about the first one hurting the worst. The rest of them get easier. Great play-by-play so far!

Cool Sunday ~ Dawn

Well, Sean had to leave out of town Monday, so he made the executive decision to leave not so bright- but early.
Spotters start around 6 ... We were on the trail a bit before 5
From what I hear we were the 4th rig out that morning...

White knuckle and Holy Toledo factor!
I tell you that Pictures simply do not do this trail justice.
We made it through like a charm though.
We ate the dust ahead of us, these guys were just too fast and just relied on ourselves taking it easy each major obstacle.
Not many pictures because it was pretty intense.

Came up to the lookout and low & behold, Benchmark was parked from the night prior
This was a nice surprise

After making it through, We had a whole new respect for the Rubicon trail.
...I give it a 10

We made it to Tahoe!

The Old Kaiser Estate (Fleur Du Lac) ~ Where Godfather was filmed
I actually stayed in the boat house- no kidding!

This was the trip of a lifetime!
Thank you exgman!
