It's a great campsite. We were there for the Project-JK Newbie run. Nothing like camping in the middle of nowhere!

Nothing very technical-- maybe a couple 4wd sections, but not overly challenging. It's gets a little rockier on the way to funnel lake. It's insanely beautiful, though, and there are miles and miles of roads to explore. There are tons of pics of the area here:
