Trails near Buffalo, NY, or in the WNY area?

You might want look into heading north to the Muskoka region of Ontario. I have heard there are trails there, and I think there is a Jeep Jamboree in that area as well. It would be too far for a day trip, but close enough to go wheel for a weekend. Tons of camping in that area as well.
I grew up in St. Catharines, and there were a few trails along the Welland Canal around one of the General Motors plant there around locks 2 & 3. Muddy trails. Also some easy hill climbs in Welland Ontario along the canal around the area of the Welland Tunnel. Easy wheeling, nothing very exciting. Might have changed by now though. I believe there is a club there called Niagara Jeep Club, they might be able to help you find something.

Maybe we can connect up for a local trail ride.

there are some in CNY and to the north in the Adirondacks, nothing to major, lot of mud and hills the only big challenge is not high centering in the ruts, but ya can get dirty.
