Default 255/70 r17 Dynapro ATM on Rubicon wheels

I'm going to lift my Jeep, but not for another year at least. I found some decent used Dynapro ATM and just want to make sure they're going to fit ok.

I understand they're smaller than the 255/75s on the Jeep now.

Does anyone know of a reason not to do this?

Will the wheel look too big inside the rubber or anything?

You'll be just fine with it. The height will be slightly different but at least for now you'll get better gas mileage. The 10A Rubicon had 265/70-17 tires on it which are smaller than the 255/75-17 that come on the sport, but nobody balked at them....granted they lost 1/4" and you'll lose closer to an inch.

Nice calculator below...
