I've ran just about everything and the Nitto Trail Grapplers are the hands down best tire. Quite, works great off road and street. Ran 35's, 37's and now 40's

Even though the Toyos are in last place I still feel they're fairly quiet for an MT.

that's exactly what i was looking for. i know i'm completely fine with the toyo m/ts. Thanks for all of the great replies!

Check out the Nitto Ridge Grapplers which are a hybrid between an MT and AT. I'm running them in 37's and they are smooth, quiet, and wearing excellent. They are similar to the Trail Grapplers off road, but much better on road, and will definitely last longer. I run them on Slabs and honestly have never even balanced them. They are very round. Oh and they look awesome.

I've been very happy with the KO2s in 37. I ride around all summer with no doors or top and these are the quietest tires I've had yet. They are also the best I've had so far in rain and snow and they've been very capable in the rocks. I wish they came in larger sizes

What icrashbikes said, I'm also running 37 inch KO2s... they are quiet and work well in the rain and snow. I've yet to have them in the rocks.... that'll be in the next month or two.

So far I'm a fan of my Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx tires. They fall in between an AT and a MT design. I do a 5 tire balance and rotate every oil change (~3000 miles) to stay on top of it. I notice a faint hum at 30-40mph, but anything above that, the wind noise and a little country music covers up any sound from the tires.

Ended up getting a deal on some 39 inch iroks and raceline beadlocks.. if the noise bothers me I'll get some 40 inch nittos.
