Any skinny 35s?
looking for a 35in tire to fit on a 16in rim, but if possible not 12.5 wide. Does anyone know if, and or what brand makes a 35x10.5r16 or a 35x11.5r16? |
interco super swampers come in tall skinny sizes including 16's

I saw the super swampers but I’m looking to daily it and I don’t think the life would be too good |
What's the motivation for the skinnies? (not being sarcastic)....

I am running 35x12.5x17 on my 2 door JK and getting 17 mpg commuting back and forth to work (15 miles each way, stop and go) I am also only running 30psi.

I’m thinking skinny tires would do a hell of a lot better in the snow up here in Maine. I love the height of my 35s right now they just kind of suck in the snow. I may just end up with some 35x12.5s with better tread

ah... okay. That makes sense. I have hardly any experience in deep snow. Missouri get 6-8 inches (at most) at one time and that's even rarely. I'm in NC now and they panic with 1 inch.
I was just listing to High Sierra 4x4 podcast where they discussed the choices of airing down, airing up, tire chains, narrow tires for snow... you might take a listen to it. |
I may have to look into it!
