Default BFGoodrich Krawler KX 39's!

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on these guys. Looking at the 39x13.5R17 for 2017 JK Rubicon. I'm currently running 35X12.5R17 with a 2.5 lift. Zero rub issues with factory fenders at full tuck. I just got done putting some Poison Spyder flat fenders on and I'm thinking I can clear these 39s considering they actually measure in at 38.50, so when they're aired down I'm thinking if it would rub it could be helped with a bump stop extension. Anyways, this isn't a post asking about my lift or rubbing. What I'm really wondering, is if anybody is running these tires on a Daily Driver and if so, is the road noise bad, hows the wear, can they handle sub zero temps. Thanks in advance! Here's a shot of my Jeep from last summer when she was brand new!

Is there a particular reason you chose the krawler's over any other 40" tire? Pro comp, Cooper, and Hercules (not to mention the Goodyear's you've got) are also available in a 40".

Heard good things about them, haven't read a bad review, didn't want to go with a full 40" tire, these measure out at 38.5. I was going to go with a 37, stumbled across these figured an extra 1.5 inches would be nice. I also run BFGroodrich KO2s on my pick up and they do great, so i figured I would give their rock tire a shot and see how it goes.

Anything over 37" may as well be a 40" and they wouldn't measure up anyways. I've not run them but the bfg's are typically expensive and run smaller than advertised. There's a guy locally that sells the KX's but I'm yet to see anyone except dedicated trailered rigs on them, and they're not the sticky compounds either.

Best of luck if you decide to try them, just be aware that there may be better options out there.

Those are $650 ea on Discount Tire?? Hellz no! There's no way I'd pay $600 - $650 for a MT tire that is going on a daily driver. I'd be on 40" Nittos or Toyos first for much less, albeit still a lot of money. The one thing I would say is I get wanting something just a bit bigger than a 37, but less than a 40. With a 17" wheel options are about non existent, and a BFG that runs smaller (typically) than stated size could be a nice compromise, but not for that cost.
