It looks like you have a factory DL there, indicated by the fact there are no grease zerks. Someone has used a RHD end to accommodate the flip (high steer). I have spare parts in the garage and checked to see if those factory boots come off as I would just send you a couple, but they don't look like they can not be removed/replaced. If it was a factory LHD end, I could just send you an end, but I have no RHD ends. I'd suggest upgrading that tbh since you need both ends. I wouldn't consider it urgent by any means, but you obviously know what happens when boots rip, grease escapes, and joints dry out. I wouldn't stress about it, but do keep it in mind. Couldn't see the TR in the pictures except for a tiny sliver. Guessing that is factory as well.

I really like the metal cloak tie rod and drag link if you live in salty areas. I had my stock and a synergy one completely seize up (tie rod).

The zinc coating, plus the design sold me on them. Something else to look into anyway.

The JKS doesn't DL doesn't come with a grease fitting so that may be something to look for when upgrading? The Tie Rod probably is stock as I don't see it in the pile of take offs in my garage. I do have the original DL though and could probably get by with using that until I order a replacement. JKS sells the kit but I only need the DL and not the trackbar brackets.
Also wanted to say thank you for and that I appreciate your willingness to help out!

It doesn't seem that people have any luck with synergy components. I am sure for some they are good but most comments lead me to believe that they just don't last. I will be sure to check out metal cloak. I am all about reliability.

I bet once you fix those steering components you'll feel a lot better about the lift and tire combo your currently running. Along with a drive shaft you might be good to go.

I might be mistaken then. Sorry, I didn’t realize the JKS end isn’t serviceable. That is very odd as almost every single aftermarket end is going to be serviceable (greasable). Shucks, even cheap moog joints can have grease pumped in em. If that is a JKS end, take a look and see if you can peel that boot back off the end. You definitely CANNOT use the factory one as it will mount on the underside of the knuckle (due to the bend in the bar), and doing this is going to cause a headache as your drag link and track bar geometry will not match. You want those bars running parallel to each other. You’ll get some nasty bumpsteer if they are not. If you reverted the DL back to stock, you’d have to then lower the TB mount on the axles as well…..and at your lift height, that will create bumpsteer as well.

You can never go wrong with Metalcloak products. That’s about as good as it gets. If you sign up for their email list on the site, they do occasionally have flash sales (either a discount or free shipping) which helps. I will say this though, out of your steering components, the track bar, ball joints, and TR are more important upgrades than DL is IMO….you know…if you have to “get by” or skimp for the time being.
