Default Fury Country Hunter M/T 40x13.5x17???

Does anybody know anything about the Fury tires? I have a chance to grab a set of 40s for a very very sweet deal, just don’t know anything about them. Looks like a major producer for the larger rim sizes, but curious as to their performance off road. Specs seem to line up with the Nitto from what I can see but there is a “E” load rating instead of a”C” which I believe is a higher ply rating.

Thoughts?

Never heard of them. Lots of customer pics on that site, though. Pretty easy to see what market segment they are going for, mostly fullsize trucks into bling.

I read some reviews and they all said the same. They were getting 25k-30k miles out of them and some had balancing issues. From a technical standpoint, they never explained their tire rotations maintenance or why they were having balancing issues. If i was running 20"+ wheels I'd give them try, especially if I came across a good deal.

That doesn't sound too good. I have over 60k on my Trail Grapplers. And issues with balancing across the board usually point to poor build quality.

E rating is good for big heavy trucks that haul heavy loads, not so good for a jeep tire unless you are just a poser.
