Default Installed new tires

Just installed a new set of Falken Wild Peak ATW3, P285 70R17, 117T, OD 33.0, OW 11.5. I intend to chalk them as soon as weather permits. Can anyone give me a staring point PSI? Thanks

The psi will depend entirely on your weight and what you're looking for out of the tire (comfort vs mileage). I run a set in the LT of them same size at 30psi on a stock 2dr. You can feel the difference from stock tires but the grip is worth it.

I'd start at 35 PSI and go down from there.

The JL Rubicons run that same tire size at 37 PSI, I’ve been running mine at 37 for about a year and have good wear.

I just ordered 5 method MR302’s with the same tire. Can’t put them on til winter is over. How are they. Much more aggressive tread than the crap wrangler RSA ‘s that are on it now. Thanks

Any stated factory spec is naturally going to be higher, that doesn't mean it's proper. Same reason tire stores like to inflate 35s up to 40psi. lol. I promise that 37 is too high for that tire. Time will tell......
