Cool New to JK! Needing help with Tire, lift, wheel questions

[FONT=Impact]hello, I've just recently bought my second JK. Its a 2014 4dr black unlimited with everything stock. I'm wanting to get a 4 inch suspension lift put on, I've been quoted $999 for a pro comp installed but not sure if with adjustable shocks or not. is anyone running these or have had any trouble with them or is there anything out there better for the price?https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/imag.../z0tdntknw.gif

also I've found the tires I want, looking to go with the General Grabbers Tires with the red lettering 35x12.50x17R, was able to get the for $260 each with free shipping but I am trying to find a less expensive rim that is black and steel that would fit! anyone have these tires with the rim size, I have heard nothing but good about these tires and they are suppose to go for about 40k???https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/imag...lies/wink1.gif

That lift is far from complete and will require more components so it's not a bitch to drive.

I would encourage you to read the link in my signature. As for wheels they are addressed as to what back sapcing is needed in the thread you just need to pick the design.
Good luck.

I was thinking that running the 17 inch rim I wouldn't need wheel spacers but will I need them? Also i forgot to add that I'm getting a steering stabilizer, probably pro comp! What all components will I need to add with this lift?

Steering stabilizers are a waste of money, the factory one does the job just fine. If your new wheels have a back space of 4.5" or less you will not need spacers. I guess you didn't read the thread I mentioned because it goes over suspenion compnents and you should run away from the pro comp lift.

I do believe the wheel space is 4.5. I wasn't able to see the link or thread you posted! Do you recommend any lifts then?

I don't see your sig dirtman. Blackswat, if you don't see it there either, the link he is talking about is stuck right to the top of this modified area, along with a decent FAQ that you could read through also.
