New tires- 33s/35s with no lift on stock Sport wheels?
Is it possible to put 33s on the stock rims of a 2012 Sport? What size of tire should I be looking for (other than saying 33")?
I'm looking at the ProComp Xtreme A/Ts, but I don't want to order the wrong size. Would I need anything else- back spacing or something? I'll be switching out my current springs (14/54, I think) with some 19/59 ones. I was told I should be fine in terms of things not rubbing if I were to upgrade the tires. Is that true? Can I use 35s or would that require a lift? Thanks in advance for your help! Katie |
I've got 285/70/17 bfg at and it's no problem

I'm on aev wheels so backspacing isn't an issue

Nitto 33's (285/70r17) are fine on stock wheels, minor rubbing on sway bar at full turn.

If you go to a 285 70 r17 you will rub, I just did and full turn rubbed hard, I order spidertrax wheel spacers and problem solved. You could also get new wheels with 4.5 inch backspacing but will cost more

1.5 inch are the proper size to get

A leveling kit should help as well.
