Default New wheels and tires ordered for my JK, can't wait!

Just purchased another set of st maxx 285s and have them coming on American eagle 012 wheels. Got a sweet deal on them as I am trading a set of bling 20s off our avalanche on them. ordered the wheels in grey/gunmetal. should look great on my mango.

Nice post some pictures up when you install them! I'm looking to get some 285's in the near future!

Mark, this is my second set of st maxx 285s. I got awesome wear and grip from the first set. worth using them on a all round rig.

That's what I'm looking for a rig to play with on the weekend and then drive me to work on Monday. What gear set up are you running and how's the power?

im running a 2011, teraflex leveling kit, 3.73s. Lets put it this way, with stock tires, I had ok power, with the 285s being somewhat heavier, you notice they are there, but its not unmanagelabe at all. best thing to do is get an aev pro cal and adjust the trans for tire size, I think that will make a big difference to driveability.

I am installing tru tracs and im going to up to 4.10. I don't need to go any bigger. just want a touch more to get that stock driving feeling back, and still can run my 265s for winter.

I can tell you keep the rotations up on the maxx, and they will last for a LONG TIME! I was going back and forth with different setups etc and got such good wear, I had to get them again.

my 2011 has 125k on it now and about 70 of that was on the st.
