Default Stock BFG M/T Feathering - will rotation fix this?

I had been taking my Jeep to the dealer for the free oil changes/tire rotations. I think they were not actually rotating the tires the last few times, the front tires are feathered and loud.

I'm going to rotate the tires diagonally front to rear, where should I put the spare that has seen less wear? I assume it should go on one of the sides in the rear.

Great, thank you!!

I was concerned about a diameter mis-match in the front throwing the steering off, so I assumed it went to the rear.

You could check tread depth. I'd say if you're within a 32nd you're okay.
