Tire Pressures

I'm running new Nitto 295 70 17 on a 2 door (3700 lbs curb). Anyone recommend a pressure for keeping all the tread on the pavement evenly.

Your jeep has to weigh more than that but the best way to get your ideal tire pressure in your vehicle with your weight is to pull out the chalk and do the test.

What is the chalk test, probably something simple, but I have never heard of using chalk for weight to pressure check.
even though I'm a weaver now, I was a mechanic then service advisor at a dealership for 28 years.
Always an opportunity to learn more

Chalk all the way across the tread, and then drive a short distance. If there is still chalk showing at the outer edges, lower your tire pressure. If there were chalk still showing in the middle, raise the tire pressure. Moral of the story, you want even wear all the way across the tread.
With 35s on my old Jeep, that meant 30psi. With 40s on the new Jeep, I'm sitting right at 25psi. Going to depend on tire size, wheel width, and weight of the vehicle.

Add tire rating to this list. For example, an E rated sidewall is going to be much stiffer than say a C rated tire.
