Default Will TPMS work??

So I posted before my factory takeoffs didn’t have TPMS. I ordered 5 of the web for $54. Brand new and Jeep OEM. I did the cross reference check and it looks like the 18 wrangler jk uses the same frequency as the previous years. Is this true. And sams club wouldn’t install them because the said they would have to force start them. Is that also true. I thought you can just drive around and they would reset. Any comment would be greatly appreciated.

The vehicle will automatically learn the sensors after driving for more than ten minutes above 20mph. There is no requirement for a TPMS tool to register the sensors. 2013-2018 JK's use a 433mhz sensor.

Can you adjust the sensors with a flashpak if you change tires?

Do you mean adjust the TPMS alert level so you aren't triggering lower pressure alert all the time? I'm not 100% certain, but I think the SuperChip products can only turn the TMPS on/off all together. Surely the SUperChip users can chime in. I can adjust my alert level down to 22psi with my BullyDog 40417 tuner, but I could never recommend anyone buy one of those. Most people seem to remove the TPMS all together and live without.

You're not adjusting the sensors at all, you're actually telling the jeep computer to lower the threshold. I'm a superchips user and I've turned my monitoring off entirely.

As far as the sensors go- you can force them awake like Sam's Club does but it's just as easy to bolt them in and drive away.

I just bought new rims with new sensors from discount. They had to be activated with a scan tool to read
