Winter tires
i just bought a 2018 JKU Rubicon Recon edition. Sahara passed to my son. Rubicon sold
they come with BFG Mud Terrain 255/75R17. Too soft for cold from what I read.
given i have kids and I live where there is snow, ice and winding roads I want to get some snow tires.
leaning toward Nokian Hakkepelliitta LT2 studded.
need help on sizing.
235/80R17 is my thoughts as thinner are better in snow.
other sizes are 245/70R17 or 265/70R17 as there is no 255 size.
anybody have advice?

I live in snow and ice. Then 6 months out of the year I don't. I have designated winter tires. The BEST I might add. They perform on glare ice and relatively deep snow and everything in between, frozen lakes winter trails. Michellin Defender LTX m/s LT285/70-17 on stock rims. I do have a 3 inch lift. I believe they probably would fit without the lift.
