My local random dollar store had nylon dog collars for small dogs that can fit up to a 12" diameter. These collars work perfectly to help keep the seat belts from flapping with top down for both the front and the rear belts. Since there is a clip, they are easy to install and remove.

I will post some better pictures next time I have the top down.

If they came with your JK your were probably charged $20 for them! I was initially looking for velcro or some other sort of strap.

 

Yes the Velcro straps work, but they are also intended to secure the sunrider when flipped open. $1 doesn't seem like too much to spend here. I have found that on the drivers side, tucking it behind the small lever that reclines the seat works great, haven't bothered doing anything to the passenger side.

I will have to check these out.

 

I put a strap around where you did for awhile with a small bungee cord. It worked better than nothing but would still flap from time to time by the belt feed.


I ended up getting 2 shoulder pads at wal-mart (made by "custom accessories"). They are about 8" long. I put them down by where the belt feeds out on each side, and it stopped the flapping cold. The custom accessory ones are nice because they let the belts spool back in. I tried another type from auto-zone that wouldn't let it go back in when you unhooked the seat-belt, so I returned those.

 

X2 , this works better than anything else ive tried.

 

fabric store $2 I got a couple strips of velcro and it works great, front driver I did the seatbelt padded thing! that flapping drivers me nuts!

 

I'll have to pick those up!

 

I bought a couple of black stretch arm bands for MP3 players off of flea bay for 5 bucks. These work AWESOME!
