Default 2012 Coolant Flush

Can any of my fellow 2012+ owners (or 2007+ if its the same) give me a walk through flushing my coolant? Since this is my first jeep i was an idiot and have been toping off the coolant system with Preston yellow antifreeze 50/50 instead. Long story short my jeep likes to run hot now when off road, something it never used to do. A few seconds on Google and i realized the huge error i made mixing. Now I am going to flush the whole system and replace with MOPAR HOAT coolant. However i cant find a drain on the bottom of the radiator. PLEASE HELP! i love my jeep and feel bad ive been making her use some shit coolant.

So you re-mixed the 50/50 mix again? The drain should be on either lower end of the radiator. Try googling it. If you still can't find it pop the lower hose off and let it drain that way

Try this link. I don't know if it is the same for 12-14. But it's worth a shot. https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/stoc...ite-up-285444/

I just had to do the same thing last weekend. It's a mess and a PITA. But worth it for the long term health of the vehicle.

As it turns out it is the same. Really easy job actually. I just flushed everything till i didn't see any color and added the correct amount of coolant for a 50/50 balance.
