Default Airraid intake and Afe TBS

I just installed the Airaid intake for the 3.8l JK engine, and a AFE Throttle body spacer. I have a bone stock 2009 4dr Sahara. I did these mods because I have just purchased a 3 inch teraflex and 35's, I am waiting for shocks and then I am putting the lift on with a friend. I anticipate the increase in weight will slow me down a little so I wanted a little more horsepower without spending too much. The intake was easy to install. I took my time and it took me an hour. Nothing really to say about the install because the directions were crystal clear and it went on smoothly. I will say by the way that I did disconnect the temp sensor from the air tube but I did not pull the throttle body harness off to put in the spacer. When I fired it up I noticed a slight growl to the engine when I stepped on it, and I can definatley hear it pulling for air. When I drove I was surprised by the gain in power. I installed the intake drove it then installed the spacer a few days later. ( because of shipping issues with the spacer). I am glad i did that because I could see the driving with just the intake and then both the spacer and the intake. They complement each other, it was nice and responsive with just the intake. When the spacer was added it became more responsive and it has smoother acceleartion. I recommend anyone to purchase both. I attached the links where I purchased both of the products.

just hope your jeep doesn't find any mud to play in or shoot tons of water in the direction of your airbox with a pressure washer.. I have an airaid CAI on mine and decided to remove it... to much of a risk..

So you have had this on for a month now is there any other reports on this? Did you see a mileage difference at all?
