Default Another cheap mod

I took the bolts out of the panel by the windshield and painted them chrome. I used dupli color chrome paint. It looks really good on black. Plus a black jeep already has a gloss black under coat. If your jeep is not black it is recommenced to paint your parts with a gloss black before you use chrome over the top. Cheap and give a little extra look. Tell me what you think.

I've personally gone to the extent of painting anything that was chrome on the Jeep to black, or just removing it entirely (including the Jeep letters on the grill). But I know everyone has different tastes, so as long as you like it, that's all that matters . Me personally, I wouldn't want anything chrome on mine

Yeah I thought about going with a black out but wife talked me into chrome door handles and rear hinges. I would not want chrome on a green jeep either I think black would look better in your case.

Thanks but im not going to chrome it out or anything. I made a chrome grill and put it in but I think I am done with the chrome. My new rims that I have ordered are black with machined metal.

You won't find many chrome fans on this forum. But good job on a cheap mod and thanks for posting the idea for others to reference when there bolts start to rust. Maybe people will choose chrome maybe black but either way good job.
