I see so many people bending stock antenna, or buying a stubble. Neither help with reception. This mod will cost you 4¢ and five beers.

(1)First open beer!.. Then you need 1 ziptie and a short pc. of vac./fuel line, (scrap works best)
(C) Next, cut hose at length between antenna and light guard.
(5)- run ziptie thur hose and back, slide loop over antenna.
(B)- drink beer!
(7)- run ziptie around light guard, cut off excess.
Now sit back and enjoy your beer!!! I mean work! ( only legal age drink'n was done during this mod, and lots of it... It makes your work look better).

 

now thats crafty how long has that been done, i dont know why i have this image on the free way your light cover coming off blowing in the wind with your antenna. not that thats going to happen but thats the image i got in my head. looks good and functional

 

Did it in December, lots of ice,snow,wind and mud. Holds great but I can't get my guards of with a screwdriver!
