I don't get it........ I think better pictures are in order here. Before, after, and stuff. I don't even know where the hole was made.

a forum search would have made things easier:

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...light=headrest

It's in the Writeup Index...

Its unnecessary... You just pop the clip as stated before.. and they lay down.. You can pop them back up anytime you wish.. Those of you that have kids and need them that is another story.. I don't have any and also don't plan to have any in the back seat.. But you never know..!! I am still looking to cut those bars off entirely.. no matter what.. (any suggestions??)

Sorry I'm just now getting around to posting this. But you also have to take into account that I just got my 07' JK about six months ago. At first I liked the look of having functional headrests on the back seat. However, over time, I always ended up going off-roading alone, so no need for the rear headrests. Here's what I did: I pulled the headrests right up out of the rear seat.

You can store the headrests under the rear seat like this:

As you can see there's no need for any modifications. An added benefit is while the headrests are under the seat the seat will fold down flat without springing back up. This is cool for if you want to throw something in the back of your Jeep but you don't want to bother taking your rear seat out.

By the way, if you try this out and fold your seat down don't drive around without anything on top of the seat. This is only good for if you're hauling something from Lowe's or something like that. Otherwise, the seat will bounce up and down every bump you hit.
