I’m sure it’s been done before but I haven’t seen it so thought I’d share my door carts. Using 2 furniture dollies from Harbor Freight for $15.99 each and scrounged the other materials from my shed and the attic. Pretty self-explanatory I think. Very stable even with just one door on. I put one front and one rear on each dolly so just roll them over and load or unload each side. I’ve seen similar online for $179 or thereabouts with mixed reviews but I couldn’t see spending that kind of money. And I can pull the racks off and still use the dollies if needed.
Now that it warmed up again I pulled the doors and took another pic so you can see how they fit. Sure handy to just roll the cart up and set the doors on it. If you have the floor space, these carts really work
great.
It's a nice repurposing of an item that could be sitting around. You might try lining that top piece with a cheap pool noodle so there's a little more padding that the doors lay against.

good idea, I have plenty. The carpet is pretty thick and doesn't leave a mark but more padding can't hurt as long as the angle doesn't change much (it is very stable as-is). I usually throw a towel or old T-shirt over it, too, just for a soft surface.
