Looks like a helluva project but I'm anxious to see the final product. Keep it up; you're looking good!

I'm still laying some fiberglass but threw it up on the roof to eyeball it so far. Click image for larger version

Trick! Pretty cool project. Great deal on the damaged top too.............Would make the project pretty much non-viable right off the bat if you had to shell out even remotely close to what they normally go for even used.

Looking forward to more progress

haven't weighed it yet but I'd put it around 30-40 lbs. other than the size, it's easily lift able with one person.

Looks awesome, I've always wondered if this could be done or offered to be sold.

someone else looked into it in the past. As I recall the price ended up being about the same as a full hardtop. I'm about 300 in with all the supplies so far. Need a cheaper place than tap plastics for materials but they are so convienently located for me.

Wow Full price for a hardtop is around 2k! Go figure that a stubby hardtop would be in the range of a full hardtop. But then again it depends on the material you end up going with.

I sort of meant craigslist price. But also don't forget you need to have the front freedom panels as well. I'll see how it turns out. If decent I'll look into how much to build a mold to duplicate.
