Been following this for a while. Now that I see a finished(ish) product on a jeep, I love it.

thanks. Appreciate the comments. The last coat of Bedliner didn't go on as smooth as I had hoped. Might try to sand and hit it again but I'm going to run it for a while to see how it holds up. The paint is a little softer than I want so hoping to see it firm up. Also for those curious, brake light is wired in with a waterproof connector. Super easy to remove. I'm not the first person to do this. But might be the first to go as far as I did. With soft Windows and an integrated roof rack I think this would be a killer product but I'm doubtful I could get my investment back.

Nice job, I might have to go out and find an old hardtop!

Roof held up well this weekend on rubicon. Just the two front bolts holding it on was secure enough. Do have a couple paint bubble spots to address. Click image for larger version

I watched some of this build and thought that it was cool, I have a trektop NX and when I remove the side windows and back window it flaps like crazy, never mind the sunrider part blowing up in the breeze as well. This is a really cool idea and might lead to a bunch of us scouring the scrapyards. Let us know how it all holds up.

The weird part about the flapping part for me is that it *only* does it when the wind blows in a specific direction. And Yes it drives me crazy
