Going to be selling my modded Dash Panel very soon if anyone is interested. My panel is on the 1st. page of this thread. Its still in perfect condition no scratch's!

New wrangler on order!

With regard to the panel not fitting... I've put one in a friend's 2010. Fit fine. Trick with his (vs my 08) was to engage the front, tilt it towards you about 60 degrees and push. It slipped below the "lip" I think you're referring to and then tilt the rear back down to engage the clips. Worked for me.

Great mod, I should really pick one of these up. Evidently DayStar did not test out their own design, otherwise these mods wouldn't be necessary. I can't believe they didn't at least put some kind of fence around the tray area.
