DayStar dash panel mod
I seriously installe dmy dash panel at 2 redlights on my way to run and errand one day. I was bored, always have tools in the jeep, and the panel just happened to be on the passenger seat (hiding form the wife!) It was that simple! Maybe 5 minutes max!
When I traded my truck in for my jeep the first thing I noticed was were do I put all my stuff, there's no storage. I had seen that dash replace and thougt that was cool but how was anything going to stay up there. That was a great modification. I may have to get that now. I hope your getting a check from them soon
My Daystar panel arrived today! I grabbed a beer, the necessary tools and got in my Jeep. Three minutes later I put my bottle cap in my new storage tray and started enjoying my beer!!!
A cold beer, $1.00 a new mod, $29.99, sitting in my JK, PRICELESS! : )

Sweet! Now to figure out how to embed a coozie...
Very good idea! I know for a fact; last week at Euro Camp Jeep in Germany, we went for a Jeep Raid. Due to a perfect summer day, doors and hardtop were removed. When entering the acceleration lane, in a sharp bend, out flew the cellphone, that had been laying on the Daystar panel!
Had to go back, park by the side of the road, and start looking. After a while I found the battery, a bit down the hill one of the covers, and then later a cop who stopped and asked what I was doing found the rest of the phone in a shrubbery further down!
Afterwards, he told me that there was a problem driving without doors. "-Why? Is it against the law here?" I asked. "-No, but you would have kept your phone inside the car..."
