Default DIY: The Jeep Wave.

So after reading the entire thread on the current state of the jeep wave i thought this sounded like a good idea. feel free to add anything i miss. KEEP WAVING!!!!

1. See a jeep driving in your general area.
2. as both vehicles get closer adjust your driving position to allow for better sighting of said wave.
3. when you get within seeing distance raise one hand and move it back and forth in a 10 to 2 motion.
4. smile and enjoy the ride!

there may be different variations of the wave i.e. the hand on the steering wheel two finger "sup", the hand out the window "high five", and the top off two hand "miss America" among others. the point is to acknowledge the culture and life style that is jeep. good luck and keep waving!

A variation when the doors are off:
1: before passing another Jeep- extend left arm behind mirror with hand in a boob cupping fashion.
2: as jeep passes look over and try to get a glimpse of their mods while using extended arm to follow said Jeep until parallel to your own side.

Use this wave with heavily modded Jeeps and don't forget to take mental photographs (see Hallpass)

My fiancee and I have our own variety.

1. See a Jeep
2. Wave (I skip the 10-2 and go with the standard four finger lift)
3. reach over and have a squeeze (repeat as necessary for parked Jeeps)
