Default Fender Mod

I was just curious if anyone had done a fender mod with their JK and left the fenders off in the end product...

I know a lot of the other models of jeeps look good without fenders and personally i think JK look bad without fenders so i was curious to see if anyone had pulled this off...

Pics would be nice too

I had the same idea. Unfortunately, it turns out that you are required by law in many states to have fenders that cover your tires. Having said that, here's one Click image for larger version

Yeah, me too. I bet you could get away with mud flaps though, like those lifted F-250s have sometimes

I would love to be able to rock fenderless on my JK. Not too sure on the fender laws here in CO, but I have seen a couple JK's with no fenders come to think of it

Default Close to fender-less

I have Xenons that are chopped down to about 3" wide or less in the back and about the width of that metal support bracket/tab underneath the fronts, so they are extremely narrow. I love them, however I live in Arizona and we don't see the rainfall other places see. But when we do, the amount of spray and rooster tail coming off my tires is ridiculous. If I lived anywhere else I think I would opt for more coverage, just a tiny bit more anyways. I like narrow flares!

Just found this website. Breaks it all down and even gives you references so you can check it out yourself.
