Default flexarm jamnut tightning

hey guys i dont really have pics to illistrate this, but i figured i'd post this so ppl can get there jam nuts tight easily on the control arms.
BTW this all takes place with vehicle on the ground and tires on.
i use a small pipe wrench, and a jack. an adjustable wrench will work too.
what i do is first u need to know which way the jam nut turns.
so once u got that put your pipe wrench on the jam nut, and raise your jack up to the wrench on the end of the handle. continue jacking until the jamnut gets loose.
adjust your arm, and flip the wrench to the other side so the pipe wrench can "lock" onto the nut. a pipe wrench is only made to turn stuff in one direction if anyone didnt know that.
get your jack again, and raise it until the handle end is in the jack.
jack up the wrench and u will get alot more torque on it than trying to wrestle it by hand. i usually go until u see the whole arm start to twist slightly.
ill usually get it as tight as i can by hand, and then use the jack technique.
then u never will have to worry about them coming loose.

now if your using a lift u obviously cant use the jack idea. it only works on the ground.
doing uppers like this is prob impossible, but u might be able to "rig" up something. havent tried it.

this is an alternative to removing the arms completly to torque on the bench.

hope this helps.
