So I've been thinking of moving my fogs to the front signal spot and wiring up the side markers to flash as signals...anyone do this before?

 

I think that would be illegal. I'm pretty sure the turn signals have to be on the front and side markers have to be a constant glow on the side. I would hate for you to get a ticket for that. It may also be dificult to point and mount the fog light. You can get a ticket if your lights are not pointed properly if you make the right person mad.

 

Turn signal mod is where you'll want to look for the flashing side marker, I've done it with no legal repercussions.

Side turn signal mod is a must. It should have been a factory standard since I've avoided a few collisions and squeezed in thru traffic due to the increased visibility.
