Default Freedom top insulation for about $10.00

HOME DEPOT HAS CONSTRUCTION INSULATION IN 2X4' SHEETS FOR $2.56 I GOT TWO

TOOK OFF THE FREEDOM TOP FRONT PANELS AND CUT THE STYROFOAM TO FIT WHITE SIDE UP

CUT VELCRO STRIPS INTO SMALL SQUARES AND ATTACHED THEM TO THE BLUE SIDE OF THE INSULATION

PULL THE PANEL OUT IF YOU WANT TO PAINT I USED DUPLICOLOR BEDLINER

RE-INSTALL BLACK SIDE DOWN REPLACE TOP

I AM NOT THE BEST GUY ON FINISHED WORK AND I MADE A COULE OF BOOBOOS, BUT I CAN LIVE WITH 'EM. I MAY DECIDE TO PUT SPEAKER CARPET OVER THE FOAM AT SOME POINT FOR A MORE FINISHED LOOK.

May have to try this one, those tops get pretty hot here in Arizona.

My interior usually cools off when i gwet to where i am going because the damn top lets in so much heat. I figure if this stuff works for houses and hotels it should work for this purpose

Looks Good. What is the thickness? Hard to read the information on the sheet of insulation.

Looks good, and I'm sure the insulation value is worth it...

...but, I'm curious about the velcor's sticky side holding to the freedom panel!?!?

Keep us updated...
