Yet another cheap side view mirror mod (no tools required)
I know I know it's been 100 times already but hey I figured one more wouldn't hurt
Cost me about $17 for one side
Parts list:
Grote mirror from Robbins auto parts
2.5 " x 3/8" bolt
3/8" wing nut
Two 3/8" washers
Two rubber washers from the plumbing dept in Home Depot
This thing came with the mirror as well, could be used if you need the mirror out a bit on the passanger side.

I have been running like that for 2+ years... There is a writeup somewhere with the parts. Let me look.

You just need a bracket like this one.

better...
This is better than the spot mirror on the vents, which I did yesterday. It works-ish, but I can't see things far enough behind me to really be all that effective. I think I'm going to go this route instead. Thank for the post!

This looks like the route I am going also. Except, I can only find rectangular mirrors. Should be ok. I need to get this done, it is supposed to be nice Sunday thru Thursday and I need to get the doors off.
