Default HELP!!!!! Leaking doors

I have a soft top, which is old, Im waiting on my hard top. When it rains on both front doors the water just pours in and I might as well have the top down. Other than putting more weather seal in, am I the only one with this issue?

Have you had this problem and fixed it? What did you do?

thanks

Mine does the same thing on both sides, when there's constant rain i just throw a tarp over the whole jeep if its going to be parked in my driveway lol, i tried adding weather stripping between the door and its rubber seal in hopes of making it tighter but that failed. I've just decided to order the Best top trek top nx and hope that maybe stops it or atleast slows down the flow hahah. Now i just keep a towel in my rig and sit on it when the seats get bad. It's a Jeep tho with drain plugs....your going to get water in it lol

I had this problem. I fixed it by adjusting the door catches. Pretty easy to do.

This! I haven't tired it but it happened to my buddies and on an older thread a few year back, there was a write up for this. Try searching it

There are two torx bolts on each one. Just loosen them and slide them further in, so when your door shuts, it closes tighter.

Do not remove the torx bolts, just loosen them!

If you don't know, the door catch is that metal thing on the body of the jeep that "catches" the door when it closes.

My buddy has to adjust the door catches on his yj every time he puts his half doors on for the summer. It's no biggie.
