You already have the bolts... just put em back. And what are you doing about a third brake light?

Another solution, Vector Offroad sell "UFO" discs that bolt into place to cover trunk holes, or replace the stock rubber hood nipples. Google : Vector Offroad UFO

There's a UFO in the upper right corner of my pic posted above.

I made a plate and surrounded the side that goes twards the body with weatherstripping foam. The bottom I left open. Then painted it to match and bolted the Jeep plate over it. It still breathes but not anywhere near as nice as the OEM one. With the hard top on I pop my ears when the heat is on without my window cracked open a touch.

This is a write up thread. I thought I was going to learn how to put holes in my tailgate.

almost no one with aftermarket tire carrier replaces the third brake light. don't do anything about it. ( until of course you run into a cop with nothing better to do). As for the holes. I wanted to get rid of the hood bumpers because i will never put the wind shield down. Got some 7/16 hole plugs, a lot of posts said 1/2 inch but half inch is too big. Then I realized that the hood bumpers fit perfectly in the two holes that the spare tire bumpers where in. They are much smaller and look much more finished with no wasted parts.

To each their own. I'd rather people stay legal. For me it's not so much the legal ramifications, but I'd rather drivers behind me SEE I'm braking to avoid rear ending me... especially since most jerks on the road seem to be obsessed with talking/texting/eating/applying makeup instead of driving.
